Invitation: Pre-Wedding Festivities (Maticoor)

Hello everyone, attempting a minimalist wardrobe-life, I decided to create an east-Indian outfit, using my western clothing. These pieces are in solid colors that are in basic versatile colors and styles. They can be used to create many casual outfits.

One of the more traditional east-Indian outfits “a shalwar” is made up of three pieces, a pant a top and a shawl.

Here is what I used to re-create the look:

The Pant: High-waisted, palazzo smocked waist in the colors ginger.

Shop: #Francescas “Shannon smocked waist” (sorry this color is sold out)

The Top: Cropped lace top, off-white.

Shop: #Aerie

The Shawl: bought from a shop vendor in Thailand-2008-

Accessories: A splash of color to bring this muted outfit to life. Bright red beaded necklace (sorry i cannot recall where I bought this) & chandelier earrings with red beads (local fair #trinidad).

Thank you.

Keep it classy ~ Keep it you
